Job Summary We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Tax Preparers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and compliant tax returns for individual and small business clients. Your expertise in tax regulations, accounting principles, and tax software will help clients maximize their refunds and ensure they meet all tax obligations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in public accounting, financial analysis, and customer service while contributing to our clients’ financial success.Responsibilities • Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and small businesses with precision and adherence to current tax laws. • Review client financial documents, including income statements, balance sheets, and expense reports, to identify deductions and credits. • Communicate complex tax concepts clearly to clients, providing guidance on tax planning strategies and compliance requirements. • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure all filings are compliant and optimized for clients’ benefit.• Conduct analysis of client financials to identify opportunities for savings or improvements in financial management. • Support marketing efforts by promoting our tax services through client engagement and community outreach initiatives. • Maintain meticulous records of all tax filings, correspondence, and client documentation for audit readiness. • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally throughout the tax preparation process. Experience • No experience required, but previous experience preparing tax returns is highly preferred.• Demonstrated knowledge of tax preparation processes, including familiarity with IRS regulations and state-specific requirements. • Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately. • Competency in math, 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry, and basic computer skills are required. • Experience in sales or marketing within a financial services environment is a plus but not mandatory. • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients of varied backgrounds.Join us as a Tax Preparer to empower individuals and businesses with expert financial guidance!
