Actuarial Internship

Segal offers an actuarial internship providing hands-on client work, skill development, and exposure to benefits consulting in a hybrid setting. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Work on actual client deliverables and assignments in retirement and health consulting practices. • Contribute to client studies, data analyses, research, government filings, valuations, benefit calculations, and ad-hoc tasks. • Collaborate with teams serving corporations, governments, and union benefit plans. • Participate in hybrid internships available in multiple office locations including New York, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Hartford, San Francisco, Glendale, and Washington, DC.About YouThe company is looking for: • Pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline. • Demonstrated progress with successful completion of at least one actuarial exam. • Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Excel and Word; programming knowledge is a plus. • Strong time and project management skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proactive approach. • Ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences and work independently with a strong work ethic.Compensation & Benefits • Hourly wage range: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour. • Hybrid work model available. • Part of Segal’s total rewards program, contributing to a positive work environment.
