About the Role We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Analyst to join our team as a Business Intelligence and Analytics Expert. As a key member of our data analytics team, you'll be responsible for driving complex self-service data integration projects, developing business intelligence solutions, and analyzing large datasets to inform business decisions. Key Responsibilities * Drive complex self-service data integration projects that unite data from disparate sources to make it accessible to business users like data analysts, experts, and insightful clients. * Drive collaborative teams to apply advanced data integration philosophies and tools to large datasets to create solutions that can be used in various, descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analysis. * Drive communication with business leaders across multiple and simultaneous projects. * Drive definition and communication of solutions and decisions. * Serve as an informed authority for data resources and monitor the continuous effectiveness of data resources being used by business users in self-service conditions. * Uphold the continuous advancement of the Southwest Airlines data science center and community. * May perform other work duties as directed by Representative's Chiefs. Information, Skills, and Competencies * Intermediate knowledge of both inductive and deductive thinking and critical thinking approaches. * Transitional knowledge in assessing and applying suitable data analysis and measurement methods for a business issue. * Transitional knowledge on acquiring and consuming data in both relational and non-relational databases. * Intermediate knowledge in coordinating, storing, and handling large amounts of data necessary for analysis and reporting. * Proficient in at least one programming language and open-source tools. * Proficient in at least one data integration and business intelligence tool. * Proficient in innovation platforms and models relevant to creating and maintaining self-service data resources. * Talented in decisive reasoning and project management skills. * Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner complex ideas and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Ability to adapt well to changing circumstances and approaches/philosophy if necessary to actually and effectively meet goals.
