Strategy Consultant (Packaging) - Contractor
About the RoleThe Strategy Consultant will be an Independent Contractor, and a member of our North America consulting team, working in conjunction with peers both within the US, as well as with our team of business development executives worldwide. The primary function will be to manage and execute upon single-client consulting projects, while ensuring long-term satisfaction, value realization and an ongoing client relationship. The candidate will be a self-starter, who is an expert in the pulp and paper industry, specifically linerboard/corrugated boxes, and is able to work independently. You should have a strong blend of quantitative and qualitative skills and will be expected to explain results to senior level executives. What You'll DoExecution and delivery of assigned project workScope of work can range from data analysis, desktop research and materials preparation to complex quantitative analysis and executive-level strategic recommendationsSupport for business development activities and consulting sales presentationsIdentify and drive development of tools to streamline and advance the businessInspire clients and provide industry thought leadership and insightInternal projects – product improvements, marketing support, etc.Qualifications15+ years relevant work experience with proven track record of success, at least 3 years in a management consulting, strategy, or senior market intelligence roleStrong pulp and paper industry experience. Linerboard/corrugated box expertise required.
