13.SOFTWARE TEST ANALYST
Scope:
Software Test Analyst Resources are responsible for validating the full functionality of systems, interoperability with databases, and horizontal and vertical integration with other interfaced systems (end to end). They develop test cases (both manual and automated), ensuring traceability to User Story acceptance criteria, executing test plans, compiling test results, and providing support to WAHBE testers as needed. Software Test Analyst Resources do not access Federal Tax Information.
1.Senior Level Resource Requirements
Mandatory
• An Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Over 5 years' experience supporting IT system development.
Education substitution:
• Bachelor's degree = 1 year
• Master's degree = 2 years
Demonstrated experience in:
• Responsible for developing and executing test scripts, documents test results.
• Completing multiple phases of test, including system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• In providing quality assurance support to the development, maintenance, or enhancement of systems through testing, problem reporting and analysis, and participation in system implementation.
• Execution of Automation scripts for Mobile, Website UI, and web services.
• Analyzing system requirements, creating test data and test plans to ensure that new and revised systems meet the customers' needs.
• Experience with SDLC, waterfall and Agile systems development.
• Knowledge of best practices for software testing methodology and techniques.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for testing software.
• Experience with Issue and Project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and automated software test tracking tools.
