This role serves as the primary coordinator for assigned families, helping them access services, community resources, and supports while enhancing caregiving capacity. The position requires knowledge of Early Steps policies and adherence to Federal, State, hospital, and HIPAA guidelines. Responsibilities include caseload management, coordinated family support, timely documentation, accurate recordkeeping, and collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams using strong communication and teamwork skills . Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, health education, interdisciplinary sociology, early childhood, child development, or special education, or an equivalent degree Enrollment in or eligible to enroll in the Florida Medicaid system as a Service Coordinator, within 6 months of employment 1 year (1600 hours) of hands-on professional experience with young children and families in a teaching, case management or counseling role, or with individuals with special needs and/or developmental delays of any age in a case management role; time spent in a practicum or internship (up to 400 hours) may apply toward the 1600 hours of hands-on experience Ability to travel to various work locations is required Salary Range: Minimum 17.11/hour - Maximum 27.37/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
