Senior/Staff Product Designer

Rally is a User Research CRM that enables Research and Product teams to recruit, manage and conduct research directly with their users. At Rally, we believe talking to your users is the key to building great products and the single most important thing a product team can do. We are designing our platform to streamline all the steps needed to talk to your users, ultimately creating a better way to run research at scale. Founded in 2022, Rally has become an indispensable tool for companies that endeavor to create great products. Our customers include Sonos, Discord, Webflow, Gong, and more. Since the start of Rally, we’ve been a fully remote company that also values in person connection. We host quarterly in-person “on-sites” for the entire team. We aim to be a lean team of seasoned Engineers and Designers who love to build. Our team champions high craftsmanship, excellence in collaboration, and systems/platform thinking. We’re looking for a senior level product designer to join the team. In this role, you'll be leading the design of products end-to-end, from conception through development and rollout. You’ll work alongside great engineers to craft powerful and easy to use products. At Rally, we empower designers and engineers to be the decision-makers, foregoing the traditional PM led model. You’ll get to truly lead with design and sit in the drivers seat of a product org. Today our design team is comprised of two senior designers, including the head of design. We are full of curiosity and optimism about the future of research. We’re excited to be designing for an underserved market and function. Talking to users is a crucial part of our jobs, and there is an abundant need for great software to help us all do that. Requirements • 7+ years experience designing software products • Expertise in interaction and visual design • Previous experience on product teams with high levels of collaboration and customer focus • Exceptional fluency with Figma and design systems/component libraries • Ability to operate beyond the design role and own product decisions What you’ll do • Design exceptional solutions across the entire product platform • Conduct research and present findings to the team with conviction and rigor • Develop deep customer knowledge and understand the nuances of how our product impacts customer behaviors and goals • Help shape the product roadmap and own product decisions and outcomes • Help engineers deeply understand user needs, empowering them to make great product decisions • Craft compelling product visions that guide product investments. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market data for our size, stage and industry, and may change based on level of experience of the candidate.
