We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team at Alaska Airlines. As a key member of our corporate team, you will be responsible for managing a select portfolio of high-value corporate and agency partners, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Job Summary:
The Strategic Account Manager will be the sole point of contact for a designated set of key accounts, responsible for developing and executing long-term strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our business offerings. This is a remote, full-time position offering a competitive salary of $27/hour and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative airline.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage high-touch, strategic relationships with key corporate and agency partners
Negotiate complex contracts and agreements to drive revenue growth and expand our business offerings
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies and drive revenue growth
Analyze data to measure contract performance and identify opportunities for revenue growth
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate and agency decision-makers
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to drive business growth and stay ahead of the competition
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in external sales, preferably in corporate sales or a related field
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Ability to travel (10% or more of the time) in support of your role
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with travel industry data reporting sources like ARC and Crystal
Knowledge of CRM tools, such as Salesforce
Proven ability to work in a logically driven, fact-based sales and account management environment
Experience in negotiating and managing corporate and agency contracts using comprehensive understanding of current travel industry distribution models
