Remote - Lead Security Specialist

Role: Lead Security Specialist Location: Remote Duration: 6+ months contract 10+ years experience level required Mandatory Skills: Purview DLP and Symantec DLP OR Zscaler DLP. Good to Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud OR Concentiric.ai Role Overview: The DLP Operations Lead will oversee the day-to-day management of the DLP Managed Services program, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and incident response. This role involves managing a hybrid team, monitoring security incidents, and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Lead the operational management of DLP solutions, ensuring 24x5 support for P1/P2 incidents. Govern DLP policies, including regular reviews and tuning to reduce noise and false positives. Manage IAM audits, user provisioning, and de-provisioning processes. Oversee cloud security posture management and tagging with Concentric.ai. Develop and implement security alerts and playbook-driven incident response processes. Conduct quarterly security awareness and training sessions. Monitor and analyze data movement, policy hits, and anomalies to detect threats. Ensure compliance readiness through regular audits and documentation. Collaborate with the Security Architect to align operational activities with strategic goals. Required Skills: Strong knowledge of DLP operations, including policy governance and incident management. Hands-on experience with tools like Concentric.ai, Mimecast, and Microsoft Purview. Proficiency in managing hybrid teams and delivering 24x5 operational support. Familiarity with IAM processes, cloud security, and compliance frameworks. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Must have experience: 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
