[Remote] EVERGREEN - Principal Analytics Consultant (POWER BI) - Future Opportunity

They are seeking a Principal Analytics Consultant specializing in Power BI to help customers gain value from their data through analytics enablement, data visualization, and data science. Responsibilities • Deliver on project-based consulting engagements; help clients develop analytical requirements through prototyping and visualization • Manage clients expectations by leading weekly status reports to clients; proactively solicit client feedback by running working sessions • Create reporting and data visualization solutions • Analyze, troubleshoot and / or tune product performance or deployment issues when required • Support or assist with backlog support and development • Identify and recommend functionality and solutions to meet and enhance user requirements • Recommend best practices to optimize data models, reports, and overall platform architecture Skills • 7+ years of relevant experience and/or demonstrated expertise in data analytics and data visualization platforms in an enterprise environment • 3+ years of external consulting experience • Expertise in data visualization and data modeling with Power BI • Power BI Service administration experience including security roles, infrastructure set up • Expertise in DAX and Power Query • Demonstrated expertise in data fluency and communicating to business users • Knowledge of SQL experience leveraging data warehouse, data marts, and/or data models (in Snowflake environment preferred) • Exceptional customer facing skills, including outstanding communication skills and project management skills • Strong problem solving skills with a passion for learning and mastering new technologies, techniques, and procedures • Previous experience scaling Power BI at an enterprise level • Previous experience leading teams of consultants to ensure performance, utilization and project delivery • Data preparation experience using Alteryx or KNIME (or similar tools like Matillion, Dataiku, or Coalesce is a plus) Company Overview • phData Premier provider of Big Data managed services and architecture, engineering, and data science consulting.It was founded in 2014, and is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, with a workforce of 501-1000 employees.
