As HID Global continues its expansion in Latin America, we are looking to hire a high-performing Regional Sales Manager to take ownership of the Spanish-speaking countries in South America. The Regional Manager will be responsible for pipeline management, sales forecasts, managing existing customer relationships and developing and implementing effective sales plans across the region to create new customer growth as well as to develop and manage multiple distributors, integrators, and end users.

As our Regional Sales Manager, South America, you’ll support HID’s success by:

Achieving and exceeding region’s monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quota, strategic and unit sales mix objectives and profit goals.
Becoming an expert in the portfolio of HID Fargo products and services to effectively represent HID in the assigned region.
Ensuring Best in Class service to our customers and partners in the territory.
Maintaining the sales forecast & communicating with other departments internally – Operations, Product Management & Engineering to ensure timely delivery of customer requirements.
Traveling throughout the assigned territory on a regular basis to expand business with existing customers as well as prospect and develop new customers consisting of channel partners and end users.
Identifying and recommending sales solutions in new and existing markets and increasing market share in established markets to close opportunities.
Maintaining timely and accurate information on customer accounts in company databases and systems (Salesforce).
Participating in applicable local, regional, and national trade shows, as required, or directed, by the Sales Director.
Participating as member of LAM Fargo Sales team, working closely to identify improvement opportunities, developmental needs and account growth.


Your Experience and Background include:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales management and key account management
Bachelor's Degree – Engineering or Computer Science
MBA preferred
Experience qualifying and selling technology solutions to companies located in LAM region.
Sales and business development experience in South America.
Proven track record of building strong end customer and channel relationships with the ability to gather market intelligence to clearly understand customer needs and then advocate solutions that clearly meet or exceed the needs. Must have the ability to work with and deal with various cultures.
Demonstrated time management, communication, decision-making, presentation and organization skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and complete short and long-term tasks and project assignments on time.
Creative thinker and should possess ability to resolve problems with a sense of urgency.
Should have ability to handle conflicts and difficult conversations as they arise.
Ability to effectively communicate in Spanish and English language verbally and in writing.
Travel and fieldwork includes international travel, therefore employee must possess or have the ability acquire a valid Passport. Travel may be up to 50% in peak periods.
