As Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with a range of business leaders to help optimise organisation cost management forecasting & budgeting processes, drive insights to help strategic decision making, identify and roll-out operational improvements, and report on the performance of the business.As core Business Partner to the HR (People) Team, you will also be responsible for salary survey and market data provision, compensation planning, HR data analysis, salary benchmarking, organisation reviews and any regulatory data reporting as well as the development of HR strategies and initiatives that enhance our organisational effectiveness and employee satisfaction!This is the perfect role for someone who has experience dealing with a range of stakeholders across levels, driving insights and recommendations from thorough analysis and someone who is excited at the opportunity to problem solve, learn new skills and make a huge impact.Responsibilities include:Building trusted relationships with your business partners to influence and support tactical and strategic business decisions that steer business improvements and cost reductionsEnsuring that drivers of performance are well understood by business leadersAiding decision making with data and insight, presenting in a clear, concise and engaging mannerSupporting the delivery of the annual budget and quarterly re-forecasting process related to Organisation Structure and planningProviding monthly updates on financial performance with variance analysis to plan, looking for ways to improve processes and outputsContributing to ad hoc financial projects as required as part of the overall Finance & People functionsAccountable for reward and compensation cycles to co-ordinating salary survey insight, aligning market data to roles, running the annual review compensation data and supporting analytics.Developing and maintaining HR dashboards, reports, and analytics to track key HR metrics and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.Analysing HR data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement including production of gender paygap and other regulatory reports and commentaryRequirements:If you don't feel you match all the "requirements" section, it's okay! You still could be a great fit for our team.Qualified finance professional with previous business partnering and/or management accounting experience (CIMA/ACCA preferred)Analytics experience with an interest in people, headcount and compensationCommercially minded with a desire to develop a strong business understandingA strong relationship builder who builds trust with their key stakeholdersStrong analytical, problem solving skills, with the ability to effectively present solid performance insights to senior leadersKnowledge of accounting principles and practicesAdvanced spreadsheet skills (Excel/Sheets) with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and interpret dataAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentSome understanding of HR processes, metrics, and best practices
