Part-Time Full Stack Developer

Role Description We’re looking for a part-time Full Stack Developer to support with building and refining our product. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys shipping quickly, solving real user problems, and working closely with a founder at an early-stage startup. What You’ll Do • Build and enhance user-facing features in React • Maintain and expand backend services (Node.js/Express) • Manage and optimize MongoDB data models and queries • Help architect secure, scalable components of the Manana platform • Deploy and maintain features using AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3, or related services) • Integrate with third-party APIs and support payments, bookings, notifications, and more • Collaborate directly with the founder on product direction and feature priorities • Own features end-to-end—from concept and requirements through testing and deployment • Improve performance, reliability, and user experience across the platform Requirements • Proficiency in React for building efficient, responsive interfaces • Experience working with MongoDB, including schema design and query optimization • Hands-on experience with AWS for deployments and infrastructure • Strong understanding of Git/GitHub workflows and pull-request reviews • Solid grasp of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern full-stack development • Experience with backend frameworks like Node.js/Express • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a part-time, remote work environment Nice to Have • Experience working in a fast-paced or startup environment (preferred) • Experience building marketplaces or two-sided platforms • Background with authentication, security best practices, or role-based access • Experience integrating payments (Stripe) or scheduling platforms • Familiarity with mobile frameworks, like React Native Hours & Compensation • Part-time: approx. 5–10 hours per week • Flexible schedule • Contract role Pay: $40.00 - $70.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 – 10.0 per week Application Question(s): • How many years of work experience do you have with Mobile Application Development? • How many years of experience do you have as a full stack developer? • What is your preferred hourly rate? • What is the link to your LinkedIn profile?
