Description
Digital Technology team is seeking a high-energy individual to join our Engineering Services team where you will have the opportunity to design and set forward direction for PLM and Model-based Definition (MBD) tools in support of the engineering community and Model-based Enterprise (MBE). You will be part of a highly collaborative team responsible for delivery of Product and Application Support to our customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities
• Work with Digital Technology teams including developers and admins to understand current Teamcenter and NX environments, integrations, data models, network architectures, and deployment methods
• Partner with Engineering discipline teams and third-party vendors to design and define functional requirements, author functional and some portion of technical specifications as applicable for the enterprise PLM environment
• Develop scalable solutions in Teamcenter/NX that align with DT Enterprise Architecture to enhance MBD processes, including the creation of Technical Data Packages (TDPs)
• Support MBD tools including enhancements, upgrades, troubleshooting, and evaluating performance related issues
• Help author DT architecture diagrams and roadmaps for MBD initiatives as it relates to broader strategy, including technologies and industry best practices
• Work with Engineering, DT leads, developers, and admins on how to implement proposed solutions
Required
• 7-10 years of experience in PLM and MBD
• Current working experience with implementing deliverables in Teamcenter/NX, with understanding of Product Definition standards
• Experience with TDPs
• Demonstrated experience in implementing digital solutions to support a Model-based Enterprise
• Strong Communication both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Evidence of past work experience where person takes initiative, is a self-starter, and quickly comes up to speed with new information/business processes
• Capable of effectively managing multiple tasks
Strongly Preferred
• Working knowledge of derivative files including .STEP 214, .STEP 242, .QIF, and 3DPDF
• Experience with MBD Tools such as BCT Inspector, Capvidia MBDVidia, ITI CADIQ, ANARK 3DPDF, and Elysium 3DxSuite
• Ability to develop optimized and scalable digital solutions to support the entire Model-based Enterprise using industry best practices
• Experience with automating MBD processes, including generation of TDPs
Preferred
• Secret Security Clearance
• Development experience, especially in NXOpen or Teamcenter ITK
• Experience working in the Agile framework
• Product Definition experience
• Understanding and experience with SDLC and DevSecOps
