Labor and Employment Attorney (Remote | $130K - $200K)

JOB SUMMARY: We are a rapidly growing, tech-forward and successful Plaintiff-Side Labor and Employment Litigation Firm based in Los Angeles, California, seeking a skilled, detail-oriented and aggressive Attorney to work in both our pre-litigation and litigation departments. This is a fully-remote position. With the help of an experienced litigation paralegal and several other support staff members made accessible to you, you will be trusted to handle labor and employment cases, including single-plaintiff FEHA and wrongful termination matters as well as single-plaintiff wage and hour cases.(PAGA and class action experience is a plus.) REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Licensure: Licensed to practice law in California; • RelevantExperience: At least five (5) years of dedicated labor and employment litigation experience (FEHA, wrongful termination, and wage and hour); • Detail-Oriented: You are diligent and carefully proofread your work; • Writing and Analysis: Strong writing and analytical skills, with experience drafting settlement demand letters, mediation briefs, motions (including MSJs), oppositions, and discovery requests/responses; • Litigation Skills: Proven ability to draft pleadings, motions and briefs, take and defend depositions, handle court appearances, perform research, and prepare for and attend trials/arbitration hearings; • Sociable: You can relate to clients and defense counsel, and progress cases efficiently; and • Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using Word, Adobe, Clio, bolthires Drive, Gmail, LexisNexis, and various legal AI tools PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Fluent in Spanish • Class and PAGA Experience • Big Law Experience • Trial and Arbitration Hearing Experience PAY:The base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $200,000 per year––commensurate with experience––plus other benefits (below).BENEFITS/PERKS: • Fully remote • Origination Fees: Percentage of attorney's fees for matters you bring into the firm • Annual Discretionary Bonus • Health Insurance: 100% employer-paid health insurance • Unlimited PTO • Retirement Plan; and • Firm-Sponsored Continuing Legal Education (CLE): Firm-paid CLE courses and bar dues Apply tot his job
