Interior Design Assistant

Job Title: Remote Interior Design Assistant (Entry-Level, Southern U.S. Preferred) Job Type: Part-Time | Contract | Remote Description: We’re seeking a Remote Interior Design Assistant to support our interior design team with sourcing and selections. This is an ideal role for an entry-level designer or recent graduate looking to gain real-world experience in the interior design industry. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of design fundamentals and is confident in making fabric, furniture, lighting, and finish selections. We are especially interested in candidates located in the Southern U.S., as knowledge of regional vendors and design preferences is a plus. Responsibilities: • Source and select furniture, fabrics, lighting, and materials • Prepare mood boards and specification sheets • Coordinate sample requests and vendor communications • Research pricing, availability, and lead times • Assist with design presentations and procurement tracking Requirements: • Education in Interior Design or related field (degree or certificate) • Knowledge of interior design principles and industry terminology • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, SketchUp, or similar tools (a plus) Preferred Qualifications: • Based in the Southern U.S. (TX, GA, FL, TN, NC, SC, AL, LA, etc.) • Familiarity with Southern design styles and regional vendors Benefits: • Fully remote with flexible hours • Mentorship and collaboration with a professional designer • Exposure to real-world residential and boutique commercial projects • Growth opportunities for the right candidate To Apply: Please submit your resume, a brief introduction, and 2–3 samples of your design work or mood boards.
