Healthcare AI Product Strategist What it is We are seeking a passionate and strategic Healthcare AI Product Strategist who combines clinical expertise with a deep interest in automation and AI. This leader will work closely with our clinical team and Chief Medical Officer to address day-to-day issues and translate clinical requirements into innovative product features. By analyzing and enhancing clinical workflows, your goal will be to boost efficiency in ways that empower clinicians to deliver an even better user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams that include developers, AI experts, designers, and QA professionals. The product team is distributed across the US and Austria. You will be a key member of the US-based clinical product team, partnering with counterparts in Vienna to ensure a seamless, integrated approach to product development and healthcare delivery. What you’ll do • Clinical Integration & Workflow Analysis: Work directly with the clinical team and CMO to understand and translate clinical workflows into actionable product features. Analyze current processes to identify automation opportunities and drive improvements in care team ratios. • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with our strategic goals. Prioritize initiatives based on clinical impact, technical feasibility, and data-driven insights. • Team Collaboration: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams—comprising Developers, AI/ML specialists, Designers, and Quality Assurance—to execute on product goals. Facilitate agile processes (e.g., sprint planning, backlog management) to ensure timely delivery. • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize quantitative and qualitative data, including user behavior analytics and direct feedback from clinical stakeholders, to iterate on product features and optimize performance. • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the essential bridge between clinical, technical, and executive teams. In addition to internal coordination, participate in customer meetings, gather direct feedback, and collaborate with outside vendors. Ensure transparency and alignment on product decisions, timelines, and release plans. • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Champion an experimental mindset; test new approaches in automation and AI that can enhance clinical efficiency and improve patient outcomes. What you’ll need Minimum Qualifications: • 5+ years of product management experience with strong exposure to clinical or healthcare environments. • Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and tools such as Jira or Asana. • A clinical background or strong experience working closely with clinical teams and familiarity with healthcare workflows • Demonstrated ability to drive product strategy and translate clinical requirements into technical solutions. • Passion for automation and AI, with experience or a keen interest in integrating these technologies into product development. • Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience leading product teams in a distributed, global environment. • Prior experience in a healthcare technology startup. • A hands-on approach and a strong problem-solving mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and innovation. • Technical expertise in relevant technologies, e.g. cloud computing, app/web development, AI/Machine Learning, workflow automation, or API integrations.
