Job Summary and Qualifications The Operations Analyst is responsible for providing operational and financial analysis to SDI leaders. The Operations Analyst identifies, trends and resolves individual claim delays in order to find and report opportunities to resolve inventory in bulk, through automated processes and recurring reporting to optimize departmental efficiency and performance. What you will do in this role: • Works closely with operations departments to assess and report performance • Coordinates scheduled and ad hoc data and analysis requests • Develop, test, and deliver scheduled and ad hoc reports • Trend, report and escalate and resolve claim processing delays for different payer products and financial classes • Effectively utilize ERA payment information (CARC/RARC) and other electronically available claim information to identify trends and make recommendations for resolving inventory in bulk, through automated processes or through recurring reporting • Collaborate with SDI Collections on special projects which may include working individual accounts or groups of accounts in Artiva, eRequest and other Parallon systems • Utilize effective documentation standards that support a strong historical record of actions taken on accounts • Provides operational support to the Senior Operations Manager • Builds a strong understanding of SSC and Revenue Cycle operations and technologies as well as HCA enterprise technologies • Researches and responds to account inquiries and escalations from SDI management and Corporate leadership What qualifications you will need: • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required. Equivalent work experience may substitute education requirements • Minimum one year of experience in related area; Revenue Cycle/SSC experience preferred. HCA-based system experience preferred Parallon provides full-service revenue cycle management, or total patient account resolution, for HCA Healthcare.
