Compensation Range: $40 - 48 per hour Our esteemed pharmaceutical client is actively looking for a Part-Time Medical Editor with experience in Medical Communications to join their forward-thinking MedComms team in a remote freelance capacity! Our client's Editorial team primarily (but not exclusively) reviews branded material for the Medical Communications division. Content can include graphic/print design, digital (including Web sites, interactive pdfs, and presentations), videos, and medical education material such as slides and presentations. Fact checking will be a primary duty for this opportunity. This role is a remote, open-ended freelance contract. In order to be considered, candidates must have pharmaceutical / medcomms industry-related experience. An editing test will be given. Responsibilities: • Copyedit materials for grammar, punctuation, and spelling. • Fact check content against source material. • Prepare jobs for internal review using Veeva Vault MedComms. • Collaborate with copywriters and other team members as needed. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: • Experience level: Experienced • Bachelor's degree in related field (eg English, journalism, life sciences). • Minimum 5+ yearsÂ’ experience editing and fact checking pharmaceutical, medical, and/or scientific materials, preferably within an agency environment. • Previous work on MedComms is a plus as well as experience anchoring/linking in Veeva Vault MedComms. • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
