About the Role: Data Scientist for blithequark's Attractions We're seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team in developing, implementing, and supporting cutting-edge data analysis and machine learning (ML) models for our attractions. As a Key Information Researcher, you'll work closely with internal partners to deliver exceptional visitor experiences through interactive and data-driven systems across blithequark Encounters (DX). This remote opportunity allows you to be an integral part of the blithequark family from the comfort of your own home, with no prior experience necessary - just a passion for innovation and a love for all things blithequark! Key Responsibilities Foster and create associations with colleagues, provide thought leadership, and drive initiatives to completion effectively and efficiently. Engage in research, drive ML strategies, and identify areas where business problems can be solved creatively by applying ML. Lead and collaborate with various specialists and data scientists to implement and scale ML solutions, creating enchanting experiences for our visitors. Drive innovation, proofs of concept, technology cash drives, and client interactions that lead to expanding top-tier AI platforms. Manage functional support and maintenance of ML-related products and services delivered by the team. Develop standard practices used in everyday operations and work with specialty units to plan, design, and execute large-scale projects in the AI space. Productionize ML algorithms in predictive analytics, clustering, image recognition, NLP, anomaly detection, etc., and evaluate their performance on real-world datasets. Collaborate with various teams to achieve goals in improving system performance and coordinate with existing software practices that produce viable code. Essential Qualifications and Skills 2+ years of mastery in Python and predictive modeling experiences, such as TensorFlow, SparkMLib, PySpark, LightGBM, MXNet, etc. 2+ years of expert-level experience in cloud platforms like AWS and GCP. Proficient in SDLC, QA cycles, and Object-Oriented Programming Design Patterns. Master-level experience in structured and unstructured data and SQL relational and non-relational databases. 2+ years of experience with Workflow or another data workflow management instrument. Experience with version control software, such as GitHub and GitLab, Model Operations, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong systems integration architecture abilities, capable of transforming new tech into business solutions. Preferred Capabilities Experience with Docker. Experience with control frameworks. Experience with Kubernetes. Experience with cloud solutions in GCP or another cloud platform. Experience with Atlassian Tools like Jira and Confluence. Experience with Agile development methodologies. Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous development. Experience with data visualization and data monitoring tools. Experience with sound analysis and text analysis. Education and Background Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical background.
