Key Responsibilities

Accurately dispense prescribed medications, adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
Ensure the pharmacy operates in compliance with regulations, company policies, and standards.
Support the pharmacy supervisor in analyzing performance data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance patient experience and financial performance.
Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare professionals, participating in community outreach initiatives to promote the pharmacy business.
People and Performance Management
Assist the Pharmacy Administrator with staff recruitment, training, and development.
Foster a collaborative environment, promoting a shared vision and recognizing colleague achievements.
Training and Self-Development
Maintain current knowledge and skills related to pharmacy and healthcare, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
Pursue professional development opportunities, seeking feedback and mentorship from pharmacy leaders.
Communicate effectively with the pharmacy team, sharing relevant information and best practices.
Essential Qualifications
BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the region.
Experience performing prescription dispensing activities, demonstrating a strong understanding of relevant state and federal controlled substance laws.
Certified Immunizer or ability to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
