This position currently reports to VP, Enterprise Commercial Inclusion Strategy. A day in the life… Project management of Black Consumer Council including calendar coordination, meeting facilitation and follow up of activities Partner with Project Lead to maintain a monthly department newsletter focused on current black consumer trends and companywide activity Source, create and maintain list of key... contacts and engagements Project management of internal events focused on engaging stakeholders Building and fostering relationships across TWDC teams Assisting with campaigns and events including creation of presentation decks What we are looking for… (Basic Qualifications) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrate analytic skills with strong proficiency in Excel Proven ability to successfully prioritize and handle multiple projects – start to finish Excellent note-taking skills, within meetings, to find the key points of the conversation and capture after-action responsibilities. Well-developed writing and grammatical skills; including copywriting and proofreading ability Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills High sense of responsibility and confidentiality Continually create and update project management documents/systems Excellent knowledge of African-American and Hispanic Latinx history and culture, inclusive of pop culture trends Be on top of cultural and social trends – create weekly digest for VP of relevant Black cultural moments An inclusive mindset and purpose-driven Self-starter Thrives on collaboration and leads with curiosity Preferred Qualifications: Proven campaign and event planning experience Required Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Eligibility Requirements & Program Information Must be at least 18 years of age Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program. Must possess unrestricted work authorization Additional Information: Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship Fully available from for the duration of the internship, roughly 40 hours each week Program length - The approximate dates of this internship are JANUARY - JUNE 2025 Housing - provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Glendale, CA area Transportation-- Must have reliable transportation to/from work The pay rate for this role in California is $21.70 per hour.
