Job Summary

As an Engineer II - Distributed Caching and Hybrid-Cloud Solutions, you will work alongside senior engineers to innovate and build new systems, improve and enhance existing systems, and identify new opportunities to apply your knowledge to solve critical problems. You will participate in the strategy and execution of a technical roadmap that will increase the velocity of delivering products and unlock new engineering capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:


Design, develop, test, and deploy large-scale distributed caching solutions using Redis/ValeKey and other technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and customers to identify and prioritize project requirements.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical feedback to ensure best practices and optimal system performance.
Review code developed by other engineers and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Contribute to existing documentation and educational content, adapting content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to improve system performance, security, and scalability.


Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (C++, Go, or Java preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
Minimum 2 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
Minimum 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Minimum 2 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks.


Preferred Qualifications:


Experience with distributed caching solutions, such as Redis/ValeKey.
Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and experience with cloud-based technologies.
Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Compensation and Benefits:
