Wachter is accepting applications for part-time DOT drivers. The ideal candidate is someone who does not mind driving or flying as a means of travel, with very little notice. Our drivers are a vital part of our business model. They assist in deliveries and recoveries of our fleet as well as safeguarding our assets during transport. The DOT driver for this role will be the main go-to DOT Vehicle Transport Specialist. We seek self-motivated and reliable candidates who can work independently and find solutions to complete the job. Schedule is as needed, and sporadic. Some weekends are expected. Requirements:
• Able and willing to travel by driving or flying as needed to deliver or recover company vehicles.
• Flexible schedule, able to leave for a delivery or pick up with very little notice.
• Must have experience towing trailers and driving straight trucks.
• DOT driving/compliance experience is a plus
• Valid REAL ID Driver's License.
• Must abide by the DOT driving hours regulations, governed by FMCSA's Hours of Service (HOS).
Company Paid:
• Per-Diem paid when overnight travel is required.
• Drive time and mileage paid.
