Legal Services Attorney 2 — AI-Assisted Pilot (Memos + Document Review + Spreadsheets)
We're hiring a small number of experienced Lawyers (corporate, regulatory, or commercial practice) for a paid pilot evaluating human + AI agent collaboration on realistic work tasks. You'll use different AI assistants while producing polished, professional deliverables.
You will complete ALL 5 tasks (short summary below):
1. Data privacy memo: analyze consent requirements and erasure obligations under Hong Kong's PDPO for a cross-border customer data transfer to the Cayman Islands; address whether a data transfer agreement is needed.
2. Off-label promotion review: assess accuracy of two items from a pharma handbook (misbranding definition + section 2.3 language) for use in a sales training deck; reference a federal court opinion and relevant U.S. Code sections.
3. Warranty claims + spreadsheet: review attached warranty claim documents and edit a product purchases spreadsheet to show the maximum refund amount per product.
4. Lease commencement date: determine the Commencement Date under an executed commercial lease given a detailed client timeline (execution through certificate of occupancy).
5. SEC filing assessment: evaluate whether new cybersecurity incident investigation findings (device impact scope) require an additional SEC filing; provide a yes/no with legal basis.
Requirements
- 2+ years of legal practice in corporate, commercial, regulatory, or transactional law
- Strong legal writing and analytical reasoning skills
- Experience reviewing contracts, leases, regulatory filings, and compliance documents
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets (editing data based on legal analysis)
- Detail-oriented with the ability to cite relevant statutes and legal authorities
- Comfortable collaborating with an AI assistant (you still own accuracy/quality)
Payment
- Fixed Price: $20 per task ($100 total)
- Performance-based Bonus: Participants are ranked using the TrueSkill ranking system. The top-ranked participant receives $100, second place receives $50, and third place receives $50.
