Dental Designer Associate
Job Description:The Dental Designer Associate is responsible for creating 3D representations of products according to customer request and requested prescription, by but not limited to using software such as 3Shape, exocad, and DTX Studio Lab. He/she works in a dental industry made-to-order production facility, meeting delivery deadlines set by the market and customer needs. He/she works in an environment subject to high quality standards and follows established standard operating procedures (SOP) and standard work (SW).Verify data from scans during the design processDesign products following the directions provided by the customer’s Rx form as well as customer’s specified preferencesSubmit and send completed work images to the customer to request approval of workSend the 3D CAD of the product into centralized production for product manufacturingFollow all SW as defined within the workcellFollow all SOPs to ensure compliance to the FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485 and OSHA 1910 regulationsComplete these tasks and other duties assigned by Team Lead, Sr. Operations Manager, or Senior Site LeadershipJob Requirements:Critical Knowledge and Qualifications: (what the role holder must know; including any required general or professional qualifications/education)General business knowledge of dental lab and dental implant manufacturing industries.Practical experience working in 1 or more roles within the dental industryAbility to identify and troubleshoot common dental implant difficulties and NobelProcera questions, and the ability to implement effective solutions based on established SOPsAdvanced computer skills, and the ability to learn new programs quicklyProfessional working proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing) in order to properly communicate within the team and with our customersCritical Skills/technical know-how: (what the role holder must be able to do)Working knowledge of 3D Dental softwareWorks with a moderate to close degree of supervisionCritical Experience:Minimum 1 year of practical or clinical experience in the dental industry or equivalent combined transferrable skills and experienceMinimum 1 year of experience working with 3D Dental software or equivalent combined transferrable skills and experienceExperience working with different implant manufacturers preferredExperience working in a regulated environment preferredOperating Company:Nobel BiocareEnvista and its family of companies (Envista) will not accept unsolicited resumes from any source other than directly from a candidate.
