What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure patients are accurately registered for all service lines and perform eligibility verification
- Maintain effective communication with clinical partners to enhance patient access and service
- Provide timely coverage in assigned work areas to facilitate prompt patient service
- Conduct insurance verification and authorization, ensuring compliance with CMS standards
- Actively participate in department meetings and contribute to a positive team dynamic
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong time management skills and ability to maintain attendance and punctuality
- Experience in insurance verification or patient access preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with diverse teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- One year of direct patient access experience
- Prior experience in collections
- One year of customer service experience
- Associate's degree in a related field
