What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage multiple simultaneous construction projects, ensuring schedule, cost management, and quality are maintained
- Measure contractor and supplier performance and maintain a list of qualified contractors
- Provide overall contract management and coordination between developers, project managers, and construction companies
- Coordinate internal resources to support various projects during construction
- Budget and track costs for assigned projects while resolving conflicts as necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management as a project manager
- Strong knowledge of AIA documents, construction bidding methods, and construction management
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in big box and/or supermarket retail construction
- Familiarity with remodeling open businesses and building takeovers
