We’re helping customers build the future, today.About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior GL Accountant to play a critical role in delivering a high-quality, timely, and well-controlled financial close. This position owns key areas of the month-end process, prepares complex journal entries and reconciliations, and ensures the integrity of CloudBees’ financial statements under US GAAP. As a core contributor within a fast-growing, global technology company, this role partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure complete, accurate, and timely financial records and the delivery of business insights. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills, a problem solving mindset, and a passion for improving processes. Key ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end month-end close activities for assigned accounts and processes including processing journal entries, preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, conducting variance analyses, and preparing materials for a monthly financial reporting packageEnsure adherence to internal control frameworks and SOX-ready documentation standards (narratives, reconciliations, evidence)Leverage NetSuite and integrated tools (i.e. Ramp) to streamline GL and close processesIdentify opportunities to automate manual reconciliations, journal entries, and reportingQualificationsRequired:2-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with exposure to general ledger and corporate accounting processes Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting; CPA preferredStrong knowledge of US GAAPHands-on experience with an ERP system, ideally NetSuite, including familiarity with subledgers and multi-entity environmentsAdvanced Excel and Google Sheets skillsExperience working within an internal control framework (e.g., SOX or SOX-like controls), including documentation and evidence supportProven ability to manage deadlines across a fast-paced close calendar, prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain high attention to detailPreferred (not required):Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis at month-endIndustry experience (i.e. software company, tech, or high-growth environment)Compensation & BenefitsBase Pay Range: $90,000 – $105,000 annually. In accordance with applicable law, this represents a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location and may be more or less than the amount shown above. Outside of base compensation, CloudBees also offer stock options and variable bonuses.
