Position: Clinical Reviewer - Immediate Advocacy Discharge Assistance, RN
Start Date: Immediate openings available
Compensation: Competitive salary ($22.56 - $33.00 per hour)
Job Summary:
As a Clinical Reviewer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring quality healthcare outcomes through accurate and timely reviews. You will utilize your clinical expertise to review medical records, determine the medical appropriateness of services, and collaborate with our team to identify areas of improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Assure the accuracy and timeliness of all applicable case reviews
Evaluate daily workload and adjust schedules as necessary
Collaborate with the Supervisor on quality monitoring activities
Maintain current knowledge of review processes and clinical practices
Act as a liaison for providers, handling customer service issues and resolving problems
Build positive relationships with internal and external customers
Requirements:
Active, unrestricted LPN, RN, Social Worker, or other applicable clinical licenses
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a related field
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in medical record organization, medical terminology, and understanding disease processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in medical record abstracting
Preferred Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted LPN/RN license strongly preferred
Familiarity with contract-based healthcare services
Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
