Job Summary

As a Customer Experience Expert - American Express Remote Customer Support Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients via inbound calls. You will work from home and be an integral part of our customer support team. Your primary goal will be to deliver personalized service, resolve customer inquiries, and provide solutions to their problems. Key Responsibilities


Respond to inbound calls from business owners and decision-makers, addressing their inquiries and providing solutions to their problems.
Develop a deep understanding of American Express products and services, including our Small Business Services (SBS) offerings.
Build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and recommend relevant products and services.
Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Record essential customer information according to established procedures and guidelines.
Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to sales and customer interactions.
Continuously develop key skills, including building rapport, understanding customer needs, handling objections, and closing sales.


Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:


Education: Bachelor's degree.
Experience: At least two years of customer service experience, preferably in a sales or customer support environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computer software and technology, including CRM systems and other customer support tools.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze customer information, identify needs, and provide solutions.
Time Management: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing time effectively.
