In this role, you will provide guidance, empathy, and clear communication to members navigating their benefits. You’ll play a key part in Spark’s mission to deliver accessible, high-quality healthcare experiences—one interaction at a time.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and texts from Medicare membersAssist with benefit navigation and external program applicationsEducate members about resources, requirements, and eligibilityAccurately document all support interactions in our CRMExecute outbound engagement campaigns to meet monthly targetsEscalate issues appropriately while owning first-contact resolution when possibleUphold our core values of compassion, integrity, and reliabilityPartner with internal teams to surface trends and improve member supportSkills Knowledge and ExpertiseCore Competencies:Clear, compassionate communicator—bilingual in Spanish and EnglishExperience working in Medicare or health insurance support rolesStrong organizational and documentation habitsFamiliarity with support software, CRM tools, and HIPAA complianceExcellent time management and a self-starter attitudeQualifications:2–3 years of contact center/customer support experience (healthcare preferred)Typing speed of 50+ WPMAble to work 40 hours/week with flexible schedulingDedicated HIPAA-compliant remote setup (high-speed internet, noise-canceling headset)Preferred Skills:Knowledge of the Medicare insurance industry1–3 years supporting Medicare membersCompensationHourly Range$23—$25 USDWhy you should join our teamBy joining Spark, you will get in on the ground floor of a fast-moving, well-funded, and mission-driven startup where you will have a profound impact on the brokers and beneficiaries we serve.
