[Remote/WFM] Full/Part-time Response Specialist -Day/ Night Shift

ā¢ Day/Night shift available
The Response Specialist is responsible for providing virtual assistance to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The Response Specialist will handle all incoming alarm signal activities and take the appropriate action per protocol. The Response Specialist will also make outbound calls in order to dispatch Police/Fire Departments regarding alarm activities while following standard operating procedures.
This role requires heavy computer and phone work as well as taking verbal instructions, typing, reading, speaking and writing.
Principal Duties:
ā¢ Operate all call center equipment and peripheral equipment
ā¢ Interact with external and internal customers via telephone, email and in person
ā¢ Promote a positive customer service atmosphere
ā¢ Initiate necessary action when irregular signals are received, or trouble develops
ā¢ Notify appropriate parties and customers if alarm signal is received
ā¢ Must be able to adhere to standard operating procedures and special instructions
ā¢ Respond quickly and precisely to incoming phone calls
ā¢ Document all alarm activity and phone calls via computer and activity reports
Qualifications:
ā¢ Clean Background check and work history
ā¢ Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
ā¢ Intermediate computer knowledge including Microsoft applications
ā¢ Able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
ā¢ Comfortable handling potential emergency situations
ā¢ Able to type a minimum of 35 words per minute
ā¢ Availability to work 12 hour shifts - rotating weekends are required
ā¢ Successful completion of training modules
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
