CBRN Analyst
Key Role:
Leverage scientific knowledge to support biological or biochemical research agendas. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in the application of scientific principles involving chemical or biological threat characterization
• 5+ years of experience serving in a leadership role such as a Principal Investigator or Team Lead
• Experience working with national strategy and doctrine development or implementation
• Experience within the chemical and biological defense enterprise, including the JPEO, National Labs, DoD Service Labs, DHS, DARPA, and BARDA
• Ability to assist in the development of a system integration and assessment process to support the augmentation of operational threat characterization capabilities incorporating analysis and feedback on characterization pipelines and operational needs from decision-makers
• Ability to assist in incorporating data and information sources, enabling integration and analysis, and synthesizing products to effectively communicate information to decision-makers
• Secret clearance
• Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
Additional Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics field
• Experience as a published author or co-author on scientific papers
• Knowledge of the DoD’s mission and organization
• Top Secret clearance
• Doctorate degree in a STEM or related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
