Carrier Sales Representatives – Work Abroad in Panama City (Relocation + Stipend Included)

What We Are Looking For: The ideal candidate for this position will be willing to relocate from the US to the Panama area for approximately one year. Two visits back to the US will be permitted within that year. Once the year timeframe has been met, the candidate will be able to work remotely from the US. Responsibilities: • Developing an overall business strategy to build a book of business. • Build a book of carrier business and grow it regularly. • Negotiate freight rates to carriers. • Resolve transportation problems with urgency and professionalism. • Procurement of new carriers based on volume and lane density. • Stay up to date on market knowledge of shipping lanes, geography, and seasonality. • Meet and exceed monthly KPI’s and goals • Handle and communicate all issues to appropriate parties in a professional manner. • Ensure all loads are booked and tracked in accordance with Circle Logistics policies and procedures. • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Experience/Education: • Bilingual in Spanish preferred • High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience required. • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in logistics or business related field preferred. • Freight brokerage or account management experience required • 2-6 years of experience in a logistics environment required. • Experience with and/or ability to learn a variety of TMS/CRM platforms. • Above average proficiency with Google Drive and Microsoft Office (vlookup, pivot tables, reports). Skills/Aptitude: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment and multitask. • Strong attention to detail and organized. • Presents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential. • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills. • Strong work ethic and dependability. • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as business needs dictate.
