Litigation Adjuster (Commercial General Liability) – Hybrid/Remote Growth Opportunity We are seeking a motivated Litigation Adjuster to join our dynamic Claims team. This is a full-time role offering a hybrid work schedule (two days in the office) or fully remote for candidates not near a local office (Worcester, MA or Howell, MI). What You'll Bring: Qualifications We're looking for a highly adaptable and critical thinker who is eager to handle the challenge of litigation. • Experience: Typically has 2+ years of litigation experience with an insurance carrier (TPA experience will not be considered). • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; an industry designation is preferred. • Skills: • solid organizational and time management skills. • Understanding of applicable statutes, regulations, and case law. • Ability to think critically and develop solutions to problems in a timely manner. • Dedication to meeting the expectations of both internal and external customers. Apply today!FOR MORE IMMEDIATE CONSIDERATION, email a current resume to [email protected] salary: $95,000 - $120,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Associate Responsibilities What You'll Do: The Role & Responsibilities In this role, you’ll be on the front lines, managing complex cases and developing your legal strategy skills under the guidance of a Unit Manager. • Case Management & Investigation: Handle a caseload of existing losses or first notice lawsuits involving disputed issues. You'll be responsible for the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution of complex claims. • Legal Strategy: Partner with defense counsel and external vendors to develop timely, cost-effective resolution strategies. This includes gathering facts and analyzing statements, testimony, and declarations of damages. • Negotiation & Resolution: Negotiate skillfully to settle litigated cases, managing disputes over coverage, liability, and damages. • Coverage Analysis: Review and analyze contracts and leases to identify risk transfer opportunities. You will also develop the ability to write positional coverage letters. • Communication: Maintain daily telephone contact with policyholders, risk managers, and agents, promoting free and open communication. • Licensing: Must have or secure and maintain appropriate state adjuster license(s) and continuing education credits.
