We pride ourselves on a team of talented professionals who are passionate about supporting our clients on their journey towards innovative outcomes.Basecamp Consulting and Solutions is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of IT consulting and we are equally committed to embodying these principles in every facet of our work.POSITION OVERVIEWReporting to the Lead Account Executive, Basecamp is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Build Manager who is experienced serving as a DevOps Engineer of complex technology implementations using agile methodologies, with a focus on establishing and maintaining the Integrity of software productsthroughout the project's life cycle.RESPONSIBILITIESOversees code builds, merges, version control, and release management pipelines.Manages environment migrations and packaging of software for release.Collaborates with developers, testers, and system engineers to ensure consistent build practices.Providing configuration management planning and controlEvaluating, coordinating, approving or disapproving, and implementing changes in software configuration itemsDescribing provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration auditsRegulating the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.Implementing the full CICD pipeline from the Git repositories to production deployments on Kubernetes, both on-prem and AWS CloudCreate and maintain Git repositoriesConfigure and maintain test suites to be executed in Jenkins pipelineImplement process and guardrails, and train the Federated Deliver Teams to work towards self-sufficient DevOps practiceCoordinates with the Delivery Manager (DevOps/Configuration Engineer) to integrate build pipelines into continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.QUALIFICATIONSBachelors Degree in related fieldMust be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this roleGitLab and/or GitHubKubernetes and KustomizeJenkins Pipelines (including groovy pipeline scripting)Agile methodologyBash ScriptingMavenNode.jsNPMSonarQubeNexusBabel, WebpackPREFERRED EXPERIENCEOpenShiftAWSISTIOGitFlowremote work
