About the role
The AI/ML Engineer Intern will work closely with our data scientists and engineers to develop, implement, and optimize machine learning algorithms and AI solutions. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in applying machine learning techniques to real-world problems.
As an AI/ML Engineer Intern, you will:
Assist in the development of machine learning models for various applications such as natural language processing, computer vision, or predictive analytics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop AI/ML-driven solutions.
Contribute to the data collection and preprocessing activities for training and testing of models.
Perform exploratory data analysis to understand the data and build initial models.
Help in optimizing algorithms for efficiency and scalability.
Participate in code reviews, and ensure coding standards and best practices are followed.
Document model development processes, algorithms, and findings.
Stay current with emerging technologies in AI and ML to ensure state-of-the-art solutions.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelors or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field with a focus on AI/ML.
Basic knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, or C++.
Strong mathematical foundation in statistics, linear algebra, or optimization techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
