Product Owner - Workday Financial
Responsibilities and Expectations:
ā¢ Clearly understand the industry and industry trends that drive the building of the roadmap of the Workday product and other financial related solutions
ā¢ Constantly work with business stakeholders, Product Managers, UX Designers and Product Architects to feed new features to the product(s) roadmap
ā¢ Organize and prioritize the product(s) backlog of requirements, technical debt, bugs and standard maintenance in a way that will deliver the key milestones identified on the roadmap in the committed timelines
ā¢ Participate in all related Agile/Scrum ceremonies where the Product Owner is expected
ā¢ Lead the development teams in refining the acceptance criteria related to new requirements
ā¢ Lead the end-of-sprint product demonstrations that showcase the new features their product(s) is delivering
ā¢ Maintain and distribute release notes to users, stakeholders and other interested parties
ā¢ Support other members in the creation of training, change management and marketing materials related to the product(s)
ā¢ Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, team and cross-team members
ā¢ Form user groups that can provide feedback related to the performance and features of their product(s)
ā¢ Stimulate and encourage innovation conversations across product and development teams
ā¢ Work closely with the User Experience team to map out workflows and determine areas of waste/opportunity to automate
ā¢ Ensure product quality and performance meet user expectations
ā¢ Maintain robust product and technical documentation
ā¢ Understand how to measure and drive business value, work with data teams to define metrics and ensure KPIs and reports on the performance and usability of their product(s) is available
ā¢ Provide timely updates to management and teams on all initiatives in progress
