WooCommerce Website Designer/Developer Needed for Modern Ecommerce Rebrand (DK Mart & Co.)
We’re rebranding our ecommerce business and need a new WooCommerce website built from the ground up for our new brand name: DK Mart & Co.
This is not a copy/paste migration of our current site. We want a fresh build with a cleaner structure, better user flow, and a more refined visual identity.
We need someone who can build a site that is:
- Fast
- Functional
- Clean / minimalist
- Visually elegant
- Easy to navigate for everyday shoppers
- Built for ecommerce conversion
Our current customer base is mainly women of all ages. Our current focus categories include:
- Mushroom coffee alternatives
- Women’s clothing
- Jewelry
We are also preparing to expand into footwear, which will likely include both women’s and men’s products.
We want the site to feel modern and polished without being cluttered or overdesigned.
What We Need Help With:
- Full WooCommerce website design + development for the rebrand (DK Mart & Co.)
- Clean site structure / navigation planning (avoid bloat)
- Homepage design focused on clarity + conversion
- Collection/category page layouts
- Product page layout optimization (clean, trustworthy, conversion-friendly)
- Mobile-first responsive design
- Speed/performance optimization
- Simple, intuitive UX (easy browsing + checkout flow)
- Basic brand-aligned visual direction (minimalist, elegant, modern)
- Plugin recommendations only where truly needed (avoid unnecessary plugin bloat)
Important Notes:
- We do not want to carry over the bloat from the current site.
- We want a lean, high-performing WooCommerce build with a clean foundation we can scale.
- The final result should be easy for customers to use and easy for us to manage internally.
- The site should support a mixed catalog (wellness beverages, apparel, jewelry, and future footwear) without feeling cluttered.
- We will also need new photos for the rebrand (product/brand imagery), so the site should be built to support strong visuals as they are added.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience building WooCommerce ecommerce websites
- Strong portfolio with clean, minimalist, conversion-focused designs
- Understands ecommerce UX and shopper behavior (especially for consumer/fashion-oriented stores)
- Can balance simplicity + elegance
- Strong mobile optimization and performance habits
- Communicates clearly and makes practical recommendations (not just visual mockups)
Nice to Have
- Experience with women-focused ecommerce brands/fashion/accessories
- Experience with wellness beverage brands or similar consumer products
- Experience designing for future category expansion (e.g., footwear, broader catalog)
- Basic branding sensitivity (fonts, spacing, hierarchy, visual consistency)
- SEO-friendly site structure knowledge
- Bonus: Ability to coordinate with or recommend product/brand photography resources

Budget: $2,000 (fixed-price preferred; open to discussion based on scope and experience)
