Volunteer Digital Asset Management (DAM) Support – Part-Time / Flexible
Role Description
We’re supporting a mission-driven archival organization that’s looking for a volunteer to provide light, ongoing stabilization support for their Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build hands-on DAM experience, get exposure to archival workflows, and contribute meaningfully to preserving and organizing important historical materials.
What You’ll Help With
This role focuses on steady, supportive work—not a major overhaul. Tasks may include:
• Assisting with basic asset organization and clean-up
• Supporting metadata consistency and light taxonomy work
• Helping identify gaps, risks, or issues within the DAM
• Providing simple documentation or notes as needed
• Serving as a reliable extra set of hands for a small archive team
Who This Is Ideal For
• Early-career DAM professionals, librarians, or archivists
