Virtual Social Worker for Michigan Students - Full-Time Position
Position Type: Full-Time, 1099 Contract
Start Date: January 2025
Caseload: PreK-12th Grade
Pay Range: $43-48/hr (DOE)
Overview:
VocoVision is looking for a dedicated School Social Worker to provide virtual social work services to students in Michigan. Help make a difference in students lives while working from the comfort of your own home.
Responsibilities:
Conduct remote assessments to evaluate students' social and emotional well-being.
Provide virtual counseling, behavioral support, and therapy to students with a variety of emotional needs.
Create and implement effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Work with parents, teachers, and administrators to develop student support plans.
Participate in IEP meetings and assist with student goal setting.
Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Social Work (MSW).
Current Michigan Social Worker license from LARA.
School Social Worker approval from the Michigan Department of Education or a temporary approval (310 form).
At least two years of experience in a school-based setting preferred.
Experience in providing virtual services is a plus but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
