Virtual Registered Nurse (Virtual RN) - Innovative Patient Care Model

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Virtual Registered Nurse (Virtual RN) to join our innovative Patient Care Model, Together Teams, at Trinity Health in Silver Spring, Maryland. As a Virtual RN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care through a computerized and/or digital platform, collaborating with a 3-person team, including a bedside RN and CNA, to provide added patient safety, expertise, and mentoring. This exciting opportunity offers a unique blend of technology, leadership, and clinical expertise, with a focus on relationship-centered, compassionate, and respectful care. As a member of our Nursing Care Team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating patient care plans from admission to discharge, utilizing clinical knowledge, critical thinking skills, and the principles of case management and adult education. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with the Nursing Care Team to provide optimal patient care through a computerized and/or digital platform • Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate patient care plans from admission to discharge • Utilize clinical knowledge, critical thinking skills, and the principles of case management and adult education to coordinate, implement, and support the plan of care • Ensure seamless, effective, and efficient transitions of care across the continuum • Monitor quality metrics specific to the department and ensure complete and accurate documentation in the patient record Requirements: • Baccalaureate Degree in the Science of Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing • Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse • Minimum eight (8) years of experience in health condition management, including adult condition management and recent acute care experience • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience What We Offer: • Competitive pay ($41.44-$55.93 per hour) • Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, free parking, metro access, tuition reimbursement, and 403(b) • Flexible work schedules and opportunities for advancement through our Clinical Advancement Program • A collaborative and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion Trinity Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we welcome applications from qualified candidates who share our commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
