Position Overview:
We are seeking a licensed and experienced Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a part-time remote position in Minnesota. In this role, you will deliver specialized instruction to support the learning and development of students with hearing impairments through virtual platforms.
Requirements:
Active Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) license in the state of Minnesota.
All local and state certification requirements must be met.
Proficiency with technology platforms that support remote teaching and virtual learning environments.
Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school staff.
Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students with hearing impairments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide remote instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the specific needs of each student.
Utilize assistive technology and online tools to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
Monitor student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary to support achievement.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Compensation:
