Video Editor & Content Creator (YouTube & Local SEO Focus)

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team and help bring our content to life. This role is ideal for someone who not only has strong technical editing skills but also wants to collaborate, experiment, and grow with a channel that’s focused on helping local service-based businesses succeed through engaging video content.This isn’t just an editing job—we want someone who’s excited to contribute ideas, shape the creative style, and share in the rewards as the channel grows. What You’ll Do • Edit high-quality video content for YouTube tutorials, case studies, and explainers focused on local SEO. • Collaborate on creative style—music, pacing, effects, and transitions—so videos feel fresh and engaging. • Research & create visuals (screen captures, graphics, step-by-step process demonstrations) to make complex topics clear and simple. • Repurpose long-form content into Shorts, Reels, TikToks, and LinkedIn videos tailored to each platform. • Assist with storytelling by giving input on pacing, visuals, and flow when scripts are developed. • Optimize content for social media best practices (titles, descriptions, hashtags). Requirements • Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio. • Proficiency in editing software (DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, CapCut, etc.). • Strong sense of visual storytelling and ability to simplify complex ideas. • Attention to detail and commitment to quality on tight deadlines. • Passion for helping small businesses grow (knowledge of SEO a plus). • Bonus: Experience with basic animation/motion graphics.
