Enterprise Holdings is excited to announce we currently have an opening for a Telecom Engineer in our Support Services Technology Department. This is a work from home position. The Engineer will be responsible for moderately complex engineering and analytical activities associated with multiple technical areas within the telecom function, such as network design, engineering, implementation, or operations; with a heavy focus on IVR. This person is also responsible for coordinating the design, development, deployment, operation, monitoring and maintenance of the hosted cloud systems, software, and contact routing/IVR platforms. This role will also advise on telephony strategy, playing a support role in the analysis and development process for new technology or changes in the environment.
Schedules: This position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with a start time between 7am-9am CST, with flexibility based on business need.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with essential department team members to understand contact center operations and technologies
Research, evaluate and propose new voice related technologies and solutions
Develop, Test and Deploy (IVR) hosted cloud solutions
Ensure processes and procedures are in place to support the deployment of new technology and services, and initiate knowledge transfer to the team
Monitor usage, licenses, and capacities by creating reports, evaluating findings, and recommending changes to management as appropriate
Modify, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on telecommunication systems (IVR); determine schedules, monitor progress, and track completion
Develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans and assist with the annual test of such plans
Troubleshoot problems quickly to determine the appropriate resolution path, serve as technical consultant to identify needs and determine solution; provide cost estimates; recommend preferred solution to stakeholders
Provide technical escalation assistance to the team; collaborate with vendors to resolve issues as appropriate; monitor vendor services and performance and recommend changes as appropriate
Develop and maintain required product knowledge and technical skills
Create and complete project plans within budgetary and scheduling guidelines and meet with managers, departmental peers and vendors to ensure projects are on schedule and milestones are being met

Qualifications
Must currently reside in one of these following active remote hiring states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, NM, NV, OH, OK, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV or WY
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Three (3) years of technical experience related to Telephony system/Contact Center/IVR experience required
Experience with AWS or Cloud based Telecom solutions preferred
Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Node.js preferred
Data Lake and Data Warehouse Experience preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
This position requires 1%-5% travel for required trainings and team meetings
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be willing to travel to complete the I-9 process, in person, if hired
Must be willing to travel for an in-person interview for this opportunity
Must be able to meet all current work from home technical requirements
