⢠Conducting comprehensive remote assessments to diagnose ADHD, considering medical history, behavioural observations, and patient input.
⢠Prescribing and managing medication therapies for patients diagnosed with ADHD, ensuring adherence to best practices and patient safety.
⢠Monitoring and evaluating treatment effectiveness through regular follow-up appointments and adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
⢠Educating patients and their families on ADHD management strategies, medication usage, potential side effects, and lifestyle modifications.
⢠Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, counsellors, and educators, to coordinate care and optimise patient outcomes.
⢠Maintaining accurate electronic health records (EHR) and documentation of patient encounters in compliance with organisational policies and regulatory standards.
⢠Staying informed about current research, developments, and guidelines related to ADHD diagnosis, treatment, and prescribing practices.
⢠Participating in professional development activities, such as continuing education courses and workshops, to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
⢠Valid V300 non-medical prescribing qualification.
⢠Proven experience in independently prescribing medications for ADHD.
⢠Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex medical information in clear, understandable terms.
⢠Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in managing patient care and documentation.
⢠Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a remote environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
⢠Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
