Job description: UPS STORE IS HIRING STORE ASSISTANT.
Schedule: FULL TIME - MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY BETWEEN 9AM TO 630PM
Address: 26 MILE ROAD & VAN DYKE, WASHINGTON, MI.
You will be responsible for the daily tasks of the store. The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail and prior retail experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership
Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
Operates all equipment, software, and devices
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment
Stays current with web-based training and best practices
Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
Empathizes and manages to demand, impatient, and/or frustrated customers to turn a stressful event into a positive experience
Packages shipments for safe arrival, including assembling stock boxes, building custom boxes, and properly cushioning contents
Takes ownership of customers packing, shipping, and/or print problems and offers viable solutions
Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
Prompt, reliable, and responsible
Able to lift 40+ pounds
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
