Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWC’s seven offices across the state. BWC offers flex-time work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval.What You’ll Be Doing:

Oversee three types of instructor-led training (ILT) curriculums (webinars, virtual training classes, and in-person classes) offered primarily to external customers.
Facilitate, organize, schedule, and host virtual training events using a remote meeting platform, currently Cisco WebEx Training.
Support in-person class sections throughout the state by purchasing inventory of supplies/demo equipment, shipping materials to remote locations and directly attending/supporting remote locations when needed.
Utilize, demonstrate and recommend usage of numerous training tools like Kahoot, Mentimeter, and Poll Everywhere to Office of Safety Services (OSS) instructors.
Assist internal and external customers with inquiries related to the BWC Learning Management System as a system administrator.
Manage accreditation with numerous CEU provider accreditation boards.
10-20% travel.
QualificationsTo Qualify, You Must Clearly Demonstrate:6 courses in human resources, education, sociology or psychology or 18 months experience in preparing informational or instructional programs AND 18 months training or 18 months experience in public speaking or effective communications skills AND 3 months training or 3 months experience in operating audio visual equipment.-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.Job Skills: TrainingMajor Worker Characteristics:Knowledge of industrial &/or construction safety practices*; safety training techniques*; employee training & development*; public relations; statistics; BWC policies, procedures & programs*; operations research techniques; public relations; use of personal computers & laptop, cameras, internet printers, scanners; telephone systems; graphic software used commonly in training & e-learning (BWC Webex system, Articulate Rise, Kahoot, Mentimeter, etc.) *; BWC policies & procedures & programs; operations research techniques; cost analysis techniques*; business planning*; Ohio business technical demographics*; designated safety & health classes; safety philosophies & practices*; designated safety & health classes (e.g. instructor requirements, course objectives, content, class maximums, class schedules, target audience)*; contemporary safety management*; loss prevention*; safety philosophies & practices*; ANSI/IACET 1-2018 Standard*.Skill in operation of personal computer; facilitating & managing group projects & decision making*; written & oral communications.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts & draw valid conclusions; prepare technical surveys &/or investigative reports; gather, collate & classify data; prepare & deliver speeches lectures before public & technical audiences; arrange items in numerical or alphabetical order; complete routine forms; handle sensitive telephone & face-to-face contacts with industrial management personnel & public & government officials; deal with many variables & determine a specific set of actions; research external agency policies & application requirements; manage projects; draft informational materials for marketing brochures; copy material accurately; maintain accurate records; understand written & verbal instructions, technical in nature; prepare meaningful, concise, accurate reports; proofread technical materials, recognize errors & make corrections; answer routine telephone inquiries from & contacts with officials & general public; draft policies & procedures; manage projects; draft informational materials for marketing brochures; calculate fractions, decimals & percentages; work independently; cooperate with coworkers to reach consensus decisions.(*) Developed after employment.
