Job Description
As a car Insurance Agent at progressive working remotely, you will be responsible for selling and servicing insurance policies. Your key responsibilities will include:
Advice on Insurance Coverage: You will actively listen to customers, assess their insurance needs, and offer suitable coverage options in line with the companys guidelines.
Analyze Customer Data: You will evaluate customer data to identify trends and patterns that will help you tailor your sales strategy for improved results.
Resolve Customer Issues: You will be responsible for resolving any issues or concerns raised by customers related to their policies, billing, or claims.
Help Customers Complete Applications: You will assist customers in completing their insurance applications. Moreover, you will do documentation of customer interactions, and any follow-up actions required.
Preparing Reports for Insurance Underwriters: You will prepare reports that guide our insurance underwriters in decision-making processes.
Assisting our Customers during the claiming process: You will offer guidance and support to customers during the claiming process in case of any accidents.
Keeping updated computer records of all activities: You will update and maintain accurate customer records, as well as any sales and service records.
Requirements
Education: Two years of post-secondary education (or equivalent) preferred
Experience: We will prefer individuals with experience in sales, customer service or telemarketing. However, we are willing to train individuals who are bilingual (Spanish and English) with an aptitude for sales.
High-Speed Internet: Your laptop or working computer must have a high-speed internet connection and be able to communicate effectively via video or telephone.
Soft Speaking: Our customers should feel comfortable talking to you, so it is important that you have a soft and soothing voice. This will give our customers the assurance that their insurance concerns are in safe hands.
Exceptional Customer Service Abilities: After connecting with you, customers shall not only feel understood, but also cared for and considered. This will solidify our companys reputation as a customer-centric organization.
Compensation
As a full-time Insurance Agent, you will receive a starting monthly salary between $8500 to $9300. You will also be eligible to participate in our companys benefits program, which includes medical insurance, paid vacation days, and a retirement savings plan.
